Please note<\/strong>: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for all camp registrations, The balance for the camp will be due 1 month prior to the camp. We will charge your card on file the balance for camp, 1 month prior. If a camp is canceled, due to low enrollment, we will refund the deposit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SUMMER CAMPS, INTENSIVES & WORKSHOPS 2027<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are already planning ahead for Summer 2027 to make dancing at SDC as easy as possible for our parents and families! By sharing our summer dates early, we hope families can plan vacations, activities, and other summer commitments around their dancer’s training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At SDC, we want our Company dancers to continue to grow! We have found that dancers are fresh, energetic, focused, and productive during summer camps. Camps give us concentrated time to work on technique, build strength, learn choreography, try new styles, and make significant progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our camps for older dancers will feature guest teachers from Maine and throughout New England, giving dancers the opportunity to train with a variety of instructors and styles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our camps your dancers ages 3-11 will be themed and incorporate dance, acro, crafts, play, theater, and fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

COMPANY SUMMER TRAINING REQUIREMENTS<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Pre-Professional Company dancers and Company dancers who want a solo, duo, trio, or extra dance must complete the required summer training hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Taking two weeks of summer dance camp in addition to Company Camp, OR<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Taking Week 1 of Summer Camp + the August Ballet\/Contemporary\/Jazz Intensive + 3 Summer Workshops<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Company Camp does not count as one of the two required summer camps.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We are providing these dates well in advance so families can choose the summer training options that work best for their schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Pre-Professional dancers will have group choreography from 12:30\u20132:30 PM each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This week is required for Pre-Professional dancers and Company dancers wanting a solo, duo, trio, or extra dance unless they are completing the alternate summer training option listed above.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
