10/3-Musical Theater Workshop – 5:30-7:00pm with Alexandra Brooke Synder-for dancers ages 10 and up-Cost-$25- HIGHLY recommended for Company members
10/3-Company Musical Theater Rehearsal- 4:15-5:30pm for ” Alice in Wonderland”. Mini Company DOES NOT need to attend. Studio doors open at 4pm
10/5- OPTIONAL CONVENTION FOR COMPANY MEMBERS-Exhale Convention in Manchester,NH
10/13-WE ARE CLOSED AND NO CLASSES WILL BE HELD FOR INDIGENOUS PEOPLE DAY.

10/27-10/31-Wear Your costume to class week! NO masks or props please.
10/31-Morning Halloween Party for Kids 2-5-10:30am-12noon. Cost: $20. Pumpkin painting, craft, bubbles, dance party, two bounce houses, toys, obstacle course, and FUN!

11/11-We are OPEN, and all classes will be held on Veterans Day. .
11/11-Toddle Inn classes will not be held on Veterans Day because Toddle Inns are closed. Toddle Inn classes will be made up on 11/25 at normal class times.

11/21- Company solos/duets/trios perform at Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough, ME at 4pm
11/21-Level 4/5 Company Hip Hop Rehearsal- 5-6pm

12/16-Company Holiday Party- 4:30-5:30pm- Level 4 Jazz Choreo, Musical Theater Choreo, and Level 4/5 Choreo will be run once each! Each Dancer should bring a gift of $10 or less for our company swap:) I will have snacks and games.

January 2026

1/9-Company Pictures with Megan Edmonds Photography 3:45-6pm and Company Showcase Rehearsal- 6-7:45pm
1/11-Company and Performance Team Showcase at South Portland High School. Show is 11am-12:30pm-Company solos/duets/trios- arrive 8:15am with hair in low straightened ponytail and makeup done and rehearse 8:30-9:10am. All other company members arrive at 8:45am. We have a full team warm up-9:10-9:20am and then run all group dances 9:20-10:00am. Company dancers get in first costume for the show at 10am. Performance Team-arrives at 9:45am with hair in low straightened ponytail and makeup done and in costume. Performance rehearses 10:00-10:20am.
1/19-Martin Luther King Jr. Day- WE ARE OPEN AND ALL CLASSES WILL BE HELD.
1/23-1/25-Excel in Motion Competition/Convention optional for Company in Danvers, MA
1/31-2/1- Kaleidoscope Dance Competition for ALL of Company-Portland, ME

3/13-3/15– Dancers Inc Competition for ALL of Company- South Portland or another local location
3/31-Select Company Group Routines and Older solos and Performance Team Performs at Enclave Nursing Home in Scarborough, ME at 4pm, arrive at 3:50pm. Dancers just need hair in low straightened ponytail and costume, no makeup needed. NO Level 5 Pointe or Level 4/5 Ballet this day.

Dance Camp Weeks Offered for dancers 9 and up:
• June 22-25th– This week is required for Level 5 and all dancers doing a solo/duet/trio or extra dance. Level 5 will do choreography 12:30-2:30pm each day.
• June 29 – July 2nd
Schedule:
• Dance: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM with a 1/2-hour lunch break
• Optional Extended Day: 1:30 – 4:00 PM

7/13– Summer 4-week sessions begin on Mondays and Wednesdays
7/13-7/16-Dance and Cooking Camp- SDC will be teaming up with Measuring Up Kitchen Camp again, for ages 6-12. Kids will dance in the morning at SDC, eat lunch, and then we will walk them to Measuring Up Kitchen to cook all afternoon.
Camp hours-9am-4pm. Registration will be with Measuring Up Kitchen!
7/20-7/23-Dance Camp for dancers ages 9 and up
Schedule:
• Dance: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM with a 1/2-hour lunch break
• Optional Extended Day: 1:30 – 4:00 PM

8/10-8/13-REQUIRED COMPANY CAMP WEEK FOR COMPANY MEMBERS AGES 7 AND UP– Mini Company (ages 7-9) has camp 9am-12noon with the option of full day camp until 3:30pm, if needed.
Camp is 9am-3:30pm, Older Dancers may have later hours

COMPANY CHOREOGRAPHY WILL TAKE PLACE AFTER SCHOOL THE FIRST WEEK IN SEPTEMBER.
